Got the mugen visors installed today. Was hoping to get a better price at Yap Bro's sister shop "Kah Tyres & Batteries Services" @ 209 Lavender Street. Unfortunately the high Yen had apparently affected practically every business...

3M Dry Carbon Pillars & Grille

Had my pillars done up with 3M Dry Carbon by Darren's wife/gf this morning. She also redid my right rear tail-light tint FOC cos it was peeling.

Overall, quite like the workmanship, price and effects.

Took out my front grille in advance to prep for tomorrow's 3M dry carbon with CarGraphiz's Darren. Looks really wierd now...
In fact, it looks like another ride at my place's MSCP.

Red Emblems - Installed

Decided to put up the red emblems today since it's going to be CNY soon.

The rear is pretty easy, just remove the 2 plastic locking pieces and use fishing line or similar to clear the 2 thin strips of 3M tape at the top and bottom of the stock emblem.





The front is a little more tricky... gotta remove the top plastic plate first, then use a short philips screw-driver to remove a couple of screws holding onto the whole squarish emblem assembly. Had a hard time trying to remove the 'H' from the assembly... in the end, gotta just break the 2 'legs' and out the 'H' pops out.

CTR Pedals /w Foot Rest (Replica)

Installed the CTR Pedals today. Now you see it, now you dun!




Initially wanted to DIY the rear Depo lights, but a couple of the nuts were so darn tight I rounded the nut a little... Also realised that gotta drop the rear bumper in order to be able to take out the outer pair of rear lights... so gave up the idea halfway through...

Also started on removing the stock scuff plates. Successfully removed the 2 rear short ones. Find it actually look quite good without any scuff! Anyway, more or less decided that I won't be fixing the silver Mugen scuffs. Will be getting the CF ones instead.






Finally wanted to test out see whether can fix my Blitz 6" pod. Managed to drop front bumper via trial and error. Proceeded to remove the resonator box BUT wah liao... in the end unable to remove the pipe from air box to resonator box... gotta get some tips from the forum bros liao...



Wanna put everything back but wah liao eh... the bloody rubber piece just refuse to sit in properly into the plastic pipe... space constraint sia... hands can't get in to get a properly grip either...



In the end before calling it a day, last "mod" : paste a sticker over my the stock SE's IU cover. Sticker courtesy from Old Man.
