Bought a 2nd hand stock Kah Motor "square" number plate holder from bro Garfield for S$15. Intend to replace my rear long rectangle plate when doing Euro plates.
Got up early to try to rectify my defective fog light (finally). Realised the whole bulb had shattered... Had a hard time getting rid of the remaining glass within... After dropping bumper to remove foggie, realised that it's just screwed on by just ONE screw which is accessible from the front... meaning, the foggie can be easily stolen!
Got around to installing heatshield for the open pod as well. And since already on the project, also reuse the CAI pipe to route "cold air" from the bumper to the pod.
Also removed the rubber piece that Racetech had slotted into my MAF adaptor to restrict the inflow of air to prevent ECL. Had no problems after removing.
Finally remove the mudguards as well. Think ride looks better without them.
Went to collect the cover from Thian Seng. Waiting time between placing order and collection - few hours... was actually told gotta wait for a couple of weeks whilst placing order, but after ordering and leaving the place, got a call and was informed that they got the cover and can collect anytime...
Collected EBC Red brake pads from Icebear. Decided to save my current Yellows for the FD Track day in July. Also cannot tahan the brake dust, so hopefully the Reds will be able to serve me well enough without the same amount of dust. Cost (group buy) : S$360 for set of 4
Also got a set of Stebel Magnum horns from him. Cost : S$8
Finally got around to getting 10k servicing done at Kah Motor Thomson. Mileage thus far : 13.5k; sounds overdued, but that's after the 5k servicing so still consider early. In fact, it's the ride's 3rd servicing after 1k and 5k.
Time taken : 1.5 hours Cost : S$127.46 (brought own engine oil and filter)
Proceeded to Racetech after that to get alignment done after getting the BC BR shocks changed the week before. Cost : S$40
Followed by a visit to Thian Seng to get the replacement cover that JC misplaced months ago... Cost : S$10
