Though me and wifey were disappointed that we ain't successful the first time round with our bid @ 1.2k for a 2 digit number, we managed to get another 2 digit (and nope, the digit 4 is not in there) registration number with just S$80 increment (S$1,280.00 for those who are mathematically challenged)! Woopee!

Counting down... exactly 7 more days to ride collection.

Bodykit

Ordered bodykit today. Mugen RR front bumper with integrated fog lights and CF grille, INGS side skirts and rear bumper as well as 3 piece CF spoiler.

I really lurrve the look of the RR; had a really hard time to finally decide on replacing the RR rear with the INGS cos I still prefer a whole bumper replacement as compared to add-on lips... Maybe can get workshop to customise the INGS rear to include the 4th brake light.

Alright... so 1.2k is not sufficient to get a 2 digit registration number... sadz...

Anyway, we went KM again today to pay up on the balance deposit, insurance, etc. Set date of collection on the 19th. May decide to try again on another 2 digit number...

18" Prodrive GC-05F

Changed my mind abt the VR GTS. The chrome outline really turns me off, I guess I still like gold rims afterall. Decided to go with Prodrive GC-05F. Offset for this set of 18 x 8J is 43, I guess this will flush better as compared to the Rays. A check from LS and Yap Bros gave me a shock! Due to the darn rising Yen, each rim's gonna set me back S$900+!!!

Factoring in tyre costs, Bridgestone RE01R's about S$300 each... geez... 2 months pay gone?

Anyway, wifey and I kenna influenced by the stupid old man and decided to try our luck to bid for a unique 2 digit registration number. SJN25L. Google and discover that a dealer is selling a previous series of the same number at 3.8k!! Geez... our budget is only 1.2k... wahaha!

TB Gasket

Bought the 25mm thick 65mm circumference throttle-body gasket from l00khere @ S$100.

Basically this mod means I gotta change to CTR TB and RBC IM liaoz.

Rays Volk Racing GTS

Started shopping around for rims and the Rays VR GTS really caught my attention. The 2 piece 5 spoke design will really look great especially after a BKK upgrade in the near future.

SSBH

Went for FD club meetup at Kallang in my trusty Vios. Reached early and parked at one corner to maintain a low profile. Bought decals, umbrellas and ordered polo tees as well. Find myself really a bit kiasu... cos I even bought SSBH (S$175) that Icebear mass ordered from the US. Wahaha!
