Bua The Other Rim

People always say, good (bad) things will always come in pairs...
Yesterday kenna force by lorry out from my lane and kenna bua right rear rim... today while out for lunch, while turning into car park, too stubborn dun wanna let the outgoing car to come out first, so while turning left, cut too much to the left due to narrow space... result? Bua the left rear rim...

Bua Rim & 5th Tank

Was turing right at traffic junction alongside a lorry. The bloody idiot ate into my lane so abruptly that I was forced to shift more to the right as evasive action... in the end, my rear right rim buang the kerb and got a really nasty rash...

Went to Hougang Mall to get x3 black anti-slip mats for boot. Decided to stick to black instead of blue.
Total costs : S$9.15



Pumped the 5th tank today. Decided to try out Esso 8000 instead for a change. Topped up 40.74 litres @ 1.62 (bloody petrol increased price...).
Total distance travelled - 437.9km.
FC for Esso 5000 - 10.7486km/l.

3M Nomad Car Mat & 4GB Spy Pen

Received a set of red 3M Nomad car mat from Chris (ocpi in vogs and custom matting in fd club) in the late evening. Gotten the same red 3M Nomad car mat from his for previous ride, however the other time was using the standard 10mm set, while this time around decided to go for the superior 13mm thick set.

Laid the 3M Nomad on top of the stock KM mats straight after collection. Realised that for the driver's side, one of the corners had a velcro and the purpose of the velcro is to ensure that the corner doesn't drop into the space underneath the accelerator pedal. Else it's next to impossible to floor the pedal fully.

As usual, the 2 piece front and 1 piece rear fits very nicely.
Price for the mats : S$165 due to CNY promotion.



Also gotten the Digital 4GB Spy Pen for fun. Decided to get the full package with the car charger and the key chain at an additional S$10. Nifty little gadget! The first thing to do is to set the date and time as well as remove the "4GB" sticker.
Currently charging the gadget for the recommended 5 hours. Can't wait to play with it tomorrow!

Volker Iridium 7ZX-IR Spark Plugs

Met up with Icebear @ Kallang Mac to collect my set of Volker plugs @ S$70.

Red Emblems - Collected

Met up with a 'serious-looking' bro early morning to collect the red emblems. Size seems to be exactly the same. This verifies that pre-fl and fl fds have universal common emblems.

Additional White LED Strip Boot Light

Had to meet a previous ride's forum bro to sell 1.8 injectors and some other stuff. Decided to make full use of the trip downstairs and do something to ride. So took down old white LED strip as well as blue Neon light to fix in boot.
As the blue Neon was used in previous ride, a bit sick of blue rear, so thought of giving the white LED strip a try.



Pretty satisfied with the results. Practically all my lights are white!
The blue Neon will probably come in handy to light up the spare tyre compartment after I customise my the tyre well to fit woofer and a couple of amps.
