Ride seems to be in a bad mood, simply refuse to change gears and stubbornly being happy whilst stuck at 'P'... zzz...
All brake lights failed to light up as well upon applying the pedal, turned out to be a blown fuse within the fuse box in the engine bay. Gotta remind myself to get a spare to replace it.
Upon replacement, discovered that the 4th brake light had approximately 7 LEDs that weren't working. Poor Paul had to take out the whole module and replaced with a new one.
Am currently driving around with a gearbox manual bypass, kinda troublesome...
Right, generally happy with the new look, but as per every aftermarket product, nothing's perfect... time to be picky...
- colour mismatch, kit is slightly more "pearl-ish", so ride is actually whiter as compared to the new pieces, hopefully a couple of weeks of sun-tanning will get that sorted out
- front bumper riveted to undercarriage plastic instead of bolt-on... haiz, that will be a problem when I wanna drop bumper for mods... Paul did promise to see what can be done to rectify that the next time I drop over
- a couple of rough spots on the paintwork, but got the workers to correct on the spot
- CF grille weave not as nice as I preferred, just gotta blame the poor handiwork of the factory
- bonnet has a slightly bigger gap on the passenger side
- bonnet too light (slightly heavier than CF bonnet), so kinda hard to close
- wire mesh of CF vents on bonnet stained with white specks of paint
- silicon not as even as I like
- finishing of 4th brake light not as perfect as when the defective module was mounted
- darn boot feels like it weighs a ton... wonder if there's any damper available in the market...
Guess that's about it. Will still have to go back to get the gearbox problem solved, drill holes on the front wheel arches so as to permit the brake vents to direct air into the tyre well, as well as to drop bumper to arrange some wiring and re-route my CAI.
However, in short, still happy like fark lah! HAHAHA!
Passed by Bukit Panjang after collection and actually met the real mccoy! Bright red Mugen RR with the number plate 400 and was stuck directly behind it. Simply too pai sei to pull alongside loh... chio sia! But it's 4th brake light doesn't seem to be working...
Oh, and just got the first bua when turning into Compass Point to pick up the missus. The passenger side brake vent duct scraped against the slope with a deafening grind that attract everybody's attention sia... zzz... No pics cos no cam. HP cam sucks, maybe tomorrow lo.
Cost : S$3,200.00
